Yeah I really think Pobeda is way better than Lexington, my opinion personally but out of the tier 8 CV I played. This ship is rather hard to play : short range, floating shells, arguable accuracy, turns like a tree-trunk, her camo is... meh at the most, and above all, the armour is famous for its non-existence. I am not as high a scorer as you, but your achievements let me know how far I might be able to take some of my favourite ships, like the Helena. As for the Cleveland, when I first unlocked this vessel I was not too sure about it–she was missing a turret after all, at least relative to the Helena and Boise. For tech tree ships in Operations, the USN CL Line is my favorite, particularly Helena and Cleveland. I gave her two tries this afternoon and it just happened that I got Cherry Blossom for the first. Despite a valiant effort by the team, we still ended up with a defeat. But it was extremely close. We had one of the aerodromes destroyed, and the other was down to about 5% HP remaining when the time ran out. The second one ended up being Defence of Naval Station Newport. Got a clean sweep victory for this one. For both I came close to reaching the 200K damage bar. Thanks for pointing out the USN CL line. In terms of Captain Skills, my Cleveland captain has Heavy HE, Top Grade gunner, and IFHE skills. The more firepower impact, the better. In terms of Equipment, I run a full lighthouse build: Steering Gears Mod 2 instead of Concealment System Mod 1 on Slot 5. I have the same build for Dallas and Helena. I hope this helps.
