Not entirely sure what could be wrong here as I've no issues with Newport. In fact, it is second only to Ultimate Frontier in terms of my favorite Op's. Of all the Op's, the one I do not like the most is Narai. I'm still so burned out from it... I don't normally go that close to the shore, but I got pushed there by another ship while trying to cut across the repair zone to intercept the enemy ships. Rolkatsuki Posted October 15, 2023 Share Posted October 15, 2023 Being running Renown '44 in ops recently, only reason I didnt run her until now was because she's a tier 7 and not a tier 8. I put my 21 point Andrew Cunningham aboard her and specced him and the ship for the secondaries and goodness grief... the ship despite being a tier 7, not only can pull her weight she can carry an Ops team where many tier 8s would fail. 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This is literally the first time I played the Tier VIII Italian tech tree cruiser in Operations, and I was delighted it was in Narai. After what seemed like spending an eternity in Newport or Raptor, RNG over the weekend was uncharacteristically generous, allowing for repeat Operations in Narai. 😄 De Zeven was next—and it was also my first time to play this ship in Narai! I was particularly curious if her airstrikes can destroy a Fort. 😄 Big Mammie was next, and just like with the Amalfi and De Zeven, this was also the first time I played the Massachusetts in Narai! We were all strangers brought together by the Match Maker supposedly to Defend Newport, but instead we were just laughing and having a good time talking (using the in-game chat) about our squishy ships and the bots. This one was particularly pleasant and fun because we had a teammate who was coaching each and everyone of us at every turn, using the in-game chat: "Roma! Stay in the Base PLEASE" "We cannot afford to lose you" This went on for the duration of the Operation. I felt the player (IGN was Mickey or something) was particularly excited or worried about how things were going so I decided to break the ice. I replied in the in-game chat: "I love you Mickey!" 😄 And the other players chimed in, our Budyonny player commented (and this really made me laugh): "I don't know Mickey but I love him too" What a game it was! 😄 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
