Cherry Blossom is an example where you can take Cleve with pleasure. BUT in a long-range duel there is no fun anymore; the shells are slow and floaty. So, I prefer to take a fast-firing 203-mm cruiser then. In some operations, like Narai, the player can achieve a very high level of damage (XP and silver too). I get that it's not his decision, and he's just paid to defend it, but if all you got is logical fallacies then it's better to drop the argument....and apparently his bosses agreed with me and killed the forum.... and hence we are all here instead. Not to say operations was the reason for that.... no doubt CC gate, and 200 page threads on econ reworks had more to do with it, but it was another brick in the wall between players and management.... In KW there are two forts which use AP shells. They are distinguishable by being turreted and both are positioned to guard entrances ( one is on the middle island ,shown in the video, the other is on the left side of the slot, which leads to the convoy, presumably put there to punish unsuspecting cruiser caps, who, as the OP, wants to " maximize DMG" and cheerfully show broadsides 🙂 ) The HE slinging ones are casemated. Aegis and KW are the "oof" ones, primarily because folk either "yolo" in Aegis towards the Northern Fleet or eat all the fish from Vanguard, and avoid the exit cap on KW like it was the plague. Wolfswetpaws Posted September 3, 2023 Share Posted September 3, 2023 Had a nice game in Scenario Operation Narai, while sailing the Tier-7 Cruiser, Colonel Bolognesi. Six of the Citadel hits that I scored were from one salvo fired into an 'Bot Omaha, which stayed afloat until a team-mate sunk it before I could meet it on the other side of an island. This was breathtakingly close! While that was fun, I no longer want to experience such thrill again because of my age. LOL! 😂 Part 2 - Mainz The same situation happened again very recently. This time, with the Mainz. I was running for dear life (down to 4,000 HP) to get to the Exit Area before that bot Fuso wrecks the entire mission. 355K Damage, 2153 Base XP and a sweaty forehead! At Tier-8, the Kii and the Constellation will probably get played, along with the Tirpitz, Odin, A.L. Littorio, Richelieu, Massachusetts, and others. If they allow Hybrid-BB's, then I'll try the Nebraska and the Delaware, too. I will regrind my USN Light Cruisers for Research Points, with the goal of getting the Seattle ready to be purchased once again by the time the event is live.
