SoshiSone Posted February 18 Author Share Posted February 18 Yes, Overmatch is a consideration. Most T7 BBs can be overmatched on the bow by 15 inchers. When up against tougher opponents, AP is used on broadside...or superstructure angled followed by switch to HE. Vanguard is a ship where you have to know how to angle (leading or trailing), know when to AP or HE, and know where to shoot. She can mano mano any T8 BB if allowed to play to strength. And can do suprisingly well in T9 and T10 matches...again...when played to strength. As for top tier, the main issue is the need to push forward more than desired becuase as a T8 BB a failure to make presence felt earlty can set the team back too much early. Vanguard is a very good attrition ship and is best played with the long game in mind. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
