Your time has value. Still doesn't make the Bayard 'free' in the sense that you discussed earlier.

I could go to a movie and spend fifty dollars on the price of a ticket and some popcorn and a drink.
Or I could get a ship for <insert price here> or some premium time for <insert price here>.

Sure, how we each value our time and how much of a fun hobby that playing WOWs is may vary according to each person's criteria.

Bayard, or whatever you take in her place if you already have her, is not "free", but she is free-to-play.

Granted, she costs as much as 31 SCs, but those are unlikely to drop a ship, and for most players extremely unlikely to drop anything better than a Tier 8. At least we have the option to get a premium Tier 8. What did I get last year, out of 50+ old SCs? Ship-wise, only a Siroco.

If, as you claim, the Bayard is free...why can't I get one?
