The best way to farm these mediocre SC's is to always choose the small crate (bottom option) when you collect your daily containers. Weegee use a pity bar system that accumulates points. Before the SC nerf, the pity bar points were much lower. Normal resource crates gave 1.5 points and the small crates were 4.5. Prior to the Kitakami resource event, I only chose the small crates, 3 times a day for an entire year. Routinely received my mediocre container every week as a result. I began doing this as soon as the nerf went live after Flamu reported how it worked in a stream. Have been collecting more coal only since while I rebuild my reserves.
