She has improved pen angles on her AP, so while the AP won’t overmatch 25mm extremities it is still very dangerous when used appropriately. She’s simultaneously a more and less sane iteration of Georgia, with some Florida and Alaska flavor added. She’s got gimmicks galore and CC/CB dispersion, but smaller guns and CC plating. At the same time, they gave her the same gimmicks (speed boost, improved secondaries, quick cooldown heal) + radar, so somebody was passing around the vodka during the planning meetings. I would say she’s probably more balanced overall than Georgia by nature of being a tier higher, having smaller guns, and lacking proper BB armor. However, she’s likely a ship with a high skill floor/ceiling, which will make assessing her actual performance based on stats difficult. The people who bought it will hype the ship because they want to justify buying it and stick to the people who tell you what is right and what is worth it to spend your money on. Well guess what only you know what is worth it. So let preachers preach and just do what makes you happy. I'm doing OK but man I tell you don't push in. It may be a BB but it has CA skin. It literally crumples. Like a modern car in a collision. The entire thing folds in on itself like it's in a car crusher if you get trapped and focused. I rarely get citted. Usually just blasted to pieces if I get too close. And fast. Take the -11 % dispersion I think it's slot six. Also take the range mod in slot four. I've landed 8/12 shells 20 to 23 kms out a number of times now. Very accurate sniper. Not everyone will focus on you because they also have their own priorities. Not everyone is also that bad where they have to go out of their way to sink your Rhode Island. Moreover, you have a lot of tools that you can use to make your impact felt at each and every phase of a random battle. Sure, they can try to sink your ship—and that is the fundamental point of a PVP match to begin with—but you can also return the favor with ample interest.
