Consumables order problem and some more - WG working on solution

Since new patch, whenever I change consumables order on any ship, after client restart order reverts to one from before the patch (or in case of ships I added in this patch to default order). I tried client in safe mode (no mods loaded) and same problem.

Example:

I reorder consumables like that:

Then after I quit game and start it again it reverts to default:

Also every time I start client I have this stupid azur lane guide pop-up for season pass.

Anyone else have same problem and or knows about a solution? I tried forum search, but It came empty for me. Maybe I searched poorly.

Where are those settings stored? In the preferences.xml file?

I have no idea, but I do not think so,  as consumables order is carried between computers. So when I log on one and change, then after logging on other this change is there as well. At least that was the case until this patch for me.

I don’t think so. I believe you’re the first to post about it in this forum.

@Montrala

Have you checked the game files on the WG launcher ?
Or ever tried to clean caches ? (seem stupid, but, from experience, I know it can solve a few problems on windows PCs).
Also : do you have mods ?

Yes. Doesn't help.

What caches?

I thought that this "I tried client in safe mode (no mods loaded) and same problem." could be a hint that I have mods. 😉

Also I have this problem both on workstation (Win10) and notebook (Win11), so I do not believe it is connected to windows or broken game client.

Oh well, time to write ticket to WG, who after making me waste 2 hours of my time to go trough some hoops and loops will say that it works for them.

ETA: If I will find correct category to file a ticket, as WG seems to change it and there is no category for bug in client.

This is the first I've heard of the consumables order getting changed merely for logging-out and discovering the problem when logging back in.

But, I think @Admiral_Karasu's "preferences file" guess might be worth exploring, because that file has been involved in other recent program bug phenomena.

Yes, though as @Montrala pointed out, in this instance if the settings are there when he logs in on another computer the only explanation can be that the settings are saved server side, probably same way everything else is like flags and camos on ships and captain skills. Though, then it's odd that they would get reset because then we should also see strange things happening to flags and captain skills too.

As to flags, I've never seen those change unless I do that myself. I barely ever use camos now (other than the perma-bonus types) because what is the point?

@Montrala Have you gone through the usual routine? Check & Repair/Install additional software?

Did you notice response from WG support that I posted yesterday?
