Post your big hit screenies!

In commemoration of the first multi citadel hit I've had in years it feels like (thanks rigged games).  I thought I'd start a post your one shot clobberings thread.

Would have been nice to see what would have happened if i didn't place the forward 4 shells into that island right in front of me.

In terms of raw damage, it would be this clip. In terms of most memorable one shot recently, it would have to be this. I don't think Medal clips embed properly on this site so I have them linked. I have a bunch of other oneshots on my profile (that's what 90% of my WoWs clips are.)

I couldn't believe it at first. To my tired old eyes, the thread title was "Post your big tits screenies". It took me a few blinks before it became clear.

I usually get big hits when playing battleships. Here are a few, all from PVP battles:

Hiya Unlooky,   I don't click on links links on this site so i can't see those shots.  Any way you can upload pictures of the hits to this forum?    Taking pictures in game is typically done by hitting the print screen button,   then the pics are storred in your world of warships folder under the file name screen shots.   You can just drag and drop the shots onto your post.

Nice shots frost.   My shot was on an incomparable as well.   That ship gives it but also takes it.

As for the ohio,  sometimes you can wack them and sometimes you can't touchem.   I don't get it (welcome to rigged games)

As for the shefflin,   what were you in?   I feel pretty confident one of these days im gonna beat that in a castilla! :classic_ninja:   The citadel is shown nearly at the waterline but it sure is easy to hit in training room.

In 1 min 50 sec I managed to get 4 Kills and 150 000 Damage in Shima. The 5 min on the thumbnail is for all the Achievements (Kraken, the thumb is wrong......).

This monday, 15+k to a novorossyisk with... Mikoyan! T9 AP at T5 overpowered!

The best was way back, a total oneshot of Iowa with Montana. All he said was 'nice shot'.

Thanks. All of these were made with Montana's tender loving and silky smooth care. 😄

More 'big hits' from PVP battles I had.

Personally, I define a big hit as a single salvo that amounts to at least 30,000 damage.

100%ed a Des. Honestly the shells couldn't have landed any better.   Wish i had hit the take screen shot earlier for that.

Moments later i 80%ed a Smolesk.  Was quite an explosive match.

Just a small clarification, is this thread for hits you score or pics of your ship blowing up?...

Could be for both if you get hit big.

But i rarely take shots of that...

Here are the other shots from that match. First one is the shells landing on the des, poor guy.

Second one is the of the Smolensk in the same match.  Actually looks like i 100%ed it as well.

how do you guys get your flying in shots with damage shown?    Do you hit Z that often on your shots, or are they replays you just free floated camera to?    I feel like if i follow my shells in in battle the screen goes back to my ship too fast to take that shot.

My understanding is that it is for the tits hits we score.

I often view and screenshot them from replay files. Decouple the in-game camera, then hit the Z key, and then screenshot. Or sometimes, I record it on video; and then play the video to screenshot the actual moment the glorious hits deliver the pain.

Here's a salvo from Vermont on a poorly positioned Satsuma by @ChaosMachineGR  of 91,616 hit points a few days ago

By the way, he's a great Twitch streamer.  He is just fun and entertaining to watch.  I saw this live, and I've never seen anyone come away with so many hit points in one salvo.  Of course, in the right hands, Vermont is a total beast.

Bonus Vermont vs. Kemlin:

Unbelievable this! 😄

I'm a big fan of Chaos. He never fails to lighten my day each time I go to his Twitch Stream!
