Still quite early, so there is plenty of time to figure it out.

FWIW, November 10th is the USMC birthday so maybe something along those lines might be nice.

Perhaps "The Sands of Iwo Jima" (1949)?

Though, there may be other viable contenders for the choice.
Perhaps "The Halls of Montezuma" or "The Flying Leathernecks" or another choice?

Sand of Iwo Jima, and Flying Leathernecks would be good choices, Halls of Montezuma only depicts Marines in training (which would be okay, but the former choices seem more appropriate.)

Another couple to add would be

  • Lion and the Wind (1975)
  • The Boys in Company C (1978)
  • Battle Cry (1979)

🙂👍

I plan to follow-up on the title "Megan Leavey" (2017), to satisfy my curiosity, too.

As a former US Marine,  it is my opinion that The Boys in Company C has the best, most accurate depiction of Marine recruit training in a movie.

R. Lee Ermey's portrayal of Drill Instructor Sgt. Loyce was his very best effort.

If we have the time, the miniseries "The Pacific".

I'm betting it ain't free though.

You are correct @Admiral_Karasu, I have been unable to find a free full length version online. However as many others have pointed out, perhaps it’s more appropriate to honor our USMC brothers-in-arms next month given that the services birthday is in it. Semper Fi 🫡
