Tpaktop2_1 NA
For the last three months I have been watching the ups and downs of the lives in a TV series called A French Village. It is a story about a fictional French Village from 1940 to 2008. I got to say this is well done fictional history series. It reminds me of the books of Bernard Cornwell (Sharpe's Rifles) and C.S.Forester (Hornblower). I got to say the characters in the storyline made me really care for them. The actors were great too IMO. Although most of the language acting is in French, the sub titles helped me understand and get across the saga of the French Village. The series filled in historical spots for me that I was not aware of in France after 1940. I would recommend the TV series for everyone that loves history.
