Why should anyone ever give a reworked CV player a compliment?

This player is using one of the two broken classes of ship WoWS management have  negatively, imo, infected/inflicted into WoWS.

My opinion is WoWS should return RTS type CVs to WoWS (as was the case earlier).

As to Subs, imo, that class type should be in an Operations Mode only where WoWS could add Corvettes (along with DDs & Escort CVs), as well.

While I don't ike Cv's, to put it mildly, never had problem comping Cv players. Still, that generally, is a high bar to reach 🙂

Oh, gawd NO!

Those things were horrible.  They could fly multiple squadrons around the map and spot darned near everything.  They could cross-drop with multiple torpedo squadrons...there was no escape.  They could light you on fire with bombers to bait you to use your damage control, only to attack you seconds later with a torpedo squadron that was circling nearby and flood you to death.  Later, the fighters had a "strafe" gimmick...good luck being a casual CV player against a CV player who knew how to use THAT.

You could de-plane a CV with cooperative AA (or a green CV who knew how to strafe)...but it was very hard to de-plane a competent CV player.

A single good CV player could easily sway a game single-handedly.  I witnessed Femennenly do it several times (both as a random team mate and as an unfortunate opponent).  Despite a few current cries to the contrary, I rarely see a CV dominate a game in their current version.

IMO, CV's are not as broken now as they were in the RTS days.  x1 CV per team is pretty bearable.  x2 CV per team gets ridiculous (for the same reason x1 of the old RTS CV's...being attacked by multiple squadrons at once), and should be capped at x1 CV per team.

One of the very best CV players, El2azeR, a player on EU server maintains that RTS CVs are, on balance, the better design. He plays both types & prefers the RTS type. If you don't believe me, ask others who know who he is or, better yet, contact him on EU server to ask him.

I do not play reworked CVs as, imo, they are not only overly protected by WG but they are far too easy to play. Reworked CVs are, imo, an insult to intelligent play. I used to play RTS CVs which are more difficult to play - they could get deplaned with the old more effective AA & you try running  up to 7 plane squadrons & moving your CV all at the same time - that took some brains ( & choosing specific types of plane loadouts) - something that is not required with the reworked CV (a blatantly inferior version). Of course, we will never agree will we?
