I remember Dad hauling us out to a farmer's house so that he could watch the Army-Navy game because we didn't get the channel it was on in town. They were veterans of the Army and Navy so there was a lot of good-natured ribbing during the game. The thing I most remember about those evenings though was eating popcorn and playing with the farmer's wife's wiener dog.
