Very late in opening since I was away for 3 weeks over the holidays, so necro'ing the thread just to post the results.

28 Santa's Gift Containers (all freely earned).  Lucky with a ship and doubloons.

 

9 Santa's Big Gift Containers (all freely earned).  Very lucky with premium time, and more doubloons.

 

7 Santa's Mega Gift Containers (all freely earned).  Super-super lucky with four ships including a Tier IX!

The last 2 Mega containers from the Dockyard gave me 12,000 Coal, and the one ship that I have been waiting to arrive for the longest time: the Tirpitz.

Finally.

All in all, my 2023 Santa Containers has been absolutely amazing. I got 2 ships and 5,000 doubloons from my New Year's Certificates. And with the birthday coupon, I purchased some doubloons for 20 Mega Containers, and it gave me Missouri, Smaland, Karl Johan, Kronshtadt, Gulio Cesare, Sun Yat-Sen, and Velos, Tashkent '39, and E. Loewen—all from a single 20 container purchase using the heavily discounted doubloons. And to think all I really wanted for myself last year was the Karl Johan. 

It was like buying a single lottery ticket for less than half the price, and then winning the Grand Prize.

All in all, not very satisfied with this year's bounty. 120 days of premium account is the highlight since I spend neither dubloons nor real cash for that. Ships - nothing impressive. Last year I opened 28 crates in total (small+big+mega) and got 3 ships (one of them was Pommern from small crate that became my main credit printer). Moreover, the ships I got this year are all pretty mediocre with the exception of Leipzig, which I really like. No DD for a DD main is also a downside (partially compensated with aforementioned Leipzig and its torps). Hopefully next Christmas will be better.
