Visited the USCGC Ingham WHEC-35 in Key West, FL. She sank U-626 in WWII during one of her 31 convoy escort missions. Later in the war she was sent to the Pacific and was at Leyte Gulf serving as the flagship for the amphibious landings. She also provided NGFS during the Vietnam war in 1967. Over the course of her 52 year service history she received 19 ribbons and 15 battle stars including 2 Presidential Unit Citations
