OT2_2 Posted September 29 Share Posted September 29 This is no longer fair. Players do not take DMG or dmg doesn't do them any harm. I believe that a quite a number is using cheating mods actively. 5 hits with deep - water torpedoes and dozens of hits with HE, fires (strangely enough no floodings) and a Tirpitz is just swimming as there would have nothing happened. OT2_2 Posted October 4 Share Posted October 4 I was looking forward to shuffle mode, Epi - center, convoy and airship, but unfortunately it seems not to be any better than randoms. Why should it though?! In the middle of the day it's plain bad, blow outs all the way and lots of people who unfortunately don't understand the tasks. Sometimes it's going so fast that one can't make any dmg or anything else useful. It turns out that quite often there is a WR - discrepancy of more than 10% between the teams ... There is only one reason to play it, and that is that one can both grind and test things without any effects on the stats. Unfortunately, my team died so quickly that I played several minutes alone as last man standing. As so often all efforts have been in vain, but with time I'm getting better and better on kiting cruisers. Despite me removing a full-hp Yodo with my 1st salvo, we were slowly grinded by relentless, almost bot-like pushing: St. Vincent, Ipiranga, Carnot, Vermont, Hindenburg... In the end, I was up against an island with Richelieu and Brandenburg bearing down on me. I tried to sneak past them to push the enemy Salmon (super-low, but my planes couldn't hit him near the enemy A. Grau 😞 ), get my kraken and, with Yamamoto's massive perks, counterattack. Sadly, the sub detonated me (Tier 8 sub torps vs best torpedo belt in the game, makes sense) and our last survivor couldn't do much on low hp. Some of my most memorable battles were with her. "Kii" didn't disappoint, and as one of two low tiers in this TX game I fought for first rank on the board. But what can you expect when you have a Des Moines like this in the team : The immediate game after that, I got another one, A Wisconsin... I stopped right after this. The average quality of OPS players has dropped quite a bit, since you can take Tier IX - * ships into them. In one of my recent matches, i had a player, who has been playing for 12 years and he still tried to kill the DDs in Hermes with his Jinan torpedos, i made the mistake of pointing out how stupid that was and the guy got really mad at me, yea sure it's entirely my fault, that still after all this time, you have no idea how to play this game. The rest of the team wasn't much better and we lost the match.
