One of those all bot games where you lose your bots early and you get way down on caps and points PLUS the surviving bots all spread out and some run vs come for you. In this one at the end, while I needed to keep my CV alive (for point reasons) plus somehow cap twice to even have a chance, the Edgar ran way over to A cap while I was at C and the bot CV went to the backline and just stopped moving on the border straight away from me. I was like @#$%. You are left feeling like what do I do first??? I have lost so many Maine games in Co-op in situations like this (about the only time you do lose Co-op these days) because you run out of time or the bots point out. Not today though. The friendly bot CV managed to spot the Edgar and I made a great cross map shot and then with 34 seconds left (last shot I was getting) and the bots at 998 pts I sunk the bot CV for the win. PHEW!!!! All SuperShip game and just myself (United States CV) and a Maine for humans. Wasn't really worried at 1st but then saw the Maine charging mid and I started getting a bad feeling. That is not a good idea in that kind of MM (plus most of the bots went mid so they were outnumbered) until you are sure you have the upper hand. I was running for cover but the damn autopilot took me into an island and then I got spotted. The bot Edgar absolutely hammered me. I kept asking the Maine to shoot it but I guess they were too busy. By the time I managed to get going and break line of sight I only had 1084 HP left. I went and stuck myself right up behind a big island on a cap and tried to help Maine but they died before I could do much. Was down to me and the Devastation and it held the bots off long enough that we got to 2V3. I managed to take out the Clausewitz and then the Maine plus cap. The bot United States actually came right to the cap I was in so that saved a lot of time. I almost blew it when it actually got close enough that with planes up spotting me its secondaries started shooting. I got hit once as I was in R and dropped to 800 something HP. But I finally got it for the win as they were about to point out. PHEW! This is one of those games where after you look at the BXP and go HUH? Anyway despite losing connection a couple of times with pings hitting 8000 ms I managed somehow to get a decent score. djc_499 Posted 19 hours ago Share Posted 19 hours ago (edited) I would like to think that this was award for a pretty good battle in the Prinz Eugen but anyway this showed up in one of these Leyte Gulf containers. I was actually thinking I ought to get this ship anyway as I love her companion KM cruisers. The maiden battle result makes me think I am really going to like her.
