Just a quick spin in co-op before I shut down for the day." Of course MM gives me a 2-humans match heavy with superships... What a trip! Viridem Posted June 16 Share Posted June 16 Got myself my 6th solo warior, in silver ranked. In a way I got lucky: -the red Kitakaze did nothing but shoot his teamates, without ever moving his ship. He got 1 base XP. ONE. -said Kitakaze detonated. -I survived a close encounter with a Giuseppe Verdi, with 288 HP. One more hit and I was toast. Colonel Potter Posted June 17 Share Posted June 17 I had a great game in the Tromp. About the only DD I truly enjoy playing. The F. Sherman was just sitting still in the smoke and I kept air dropping on where his guns were firing from and hit him with a couple of torps, lol. Was a fun game. When battle started all ships with the exception of my clan mate and me abandoned the left flank without any good reason. One started moving and a lemming train was the sad consequence. CA + BB, some strangely enough with players at the helm who should have reacted differently regarding their experience (30 - 40 K randoms) and (very) high WR ...!? Stubbornness and tenacity paid off, and we won the left flank back with only 3 units left. Unfortunately the middle and then subsequently the right flank collapsed and we lost. And today, she was mighty fine indeed... I even managed to win a brawl against the North Carolina. Got a Dreadnought, and was one kill away from Kraken... but I got a rush of shit to the brain and decided to use AP against a carrier... We had all 3 caps, a points lead and even a 1 ship lead but my team pushed into the reds and dropped like flies. A couple of our already-dead teammates criticized that strategy. 😏l! I spotted for my last teammate in Akizuki as he gunned down the red Azuma, but reds were flipping two caps so he then charged into B and lost a duel with Cossack. Now me vs Bayard, Wiesbaden, Salmon and a very low health Cossack. I thought if Cossack emerged from his smoke I would gun him down, but it was Bayard instead so I just ran. We still had a points lead and one cap. The reds had Radio Location pointing at me so I could have been in trouble, but time ran out before they could corner me (and right as I sank Weisbaden with a torp) so we won on points, and I got Solo Warrior! 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

OT2_2 Posted June 20 Share Posted June 20 Good ranked battle on Rodney / second account. I'm getting more and more familiar with her. She can slap other ships brutally with both HE and AP and presenting broadside to her is a safe way of getting killed almost instantly. Her special effect and very effective in close combat are her torpedoes with their crazy alpha dmg. I forgot to do a screen capture of the Base XP, but it was 1605xp on that loss and top on my team. But managed a Kraken, as well as High Caliber and Confederate.
