All I can say is: Anyone still on the fence on getting the Golden Lion or even shelling out the Coal for the Leg mod... I just need to say ... Its a bloody MONSTER!!! Its a totally different ship then regular Golden. I will post this game tomorrow on my channel and I just wanna say its almost an Orgasmic feeling in the end when I nuke the T8 CV with 3 stacked air drops. Also, for anyone who thinks CVs are a pest in this game? This ship is for you! Haven got struck yet by a CV, their squadrons just evaporate when they get in my sector (got a half "AA build"), and even other Leg mod Goldens cant strike you because you shoot the planes down before they reach you. Waaaay better than Halland AA. So, big tip from the coach, get yourself a Lem mod Golden and "Git gud" at leading strikes, and never fear CVs or hybrids again. Ranked is a joke, its 3% the Unicums that will go to rank 1 in no time, and then 97% the bottom of the barrel who hopes some skilled players will carry them to Gold in 200 games. Havent touched it in 6 years and just better for it. That said, playing Halland with Jerski buffs is always nice! I just had a match with a results screen with no ribbons. But, when I looked at the results a second time, the ribbons appeared. Lately the results screen is somewhat slow (in comparison with previous game versions) and the ribbons take an observable amount of time to be displayed on-screen. Probably a bug. Maybe due to the tool I use for screenshots ? Honestly I don't know and it's the first time. But from what I recall, I had : one cap, the planes, two citadels, two kills (Gearing and A.Regolo) a few secondary hits...the ordinary stuff. 🙂 I'll pay more attention next time. EDIT : I think there is also another reason => I usually play behind a VPN (personnal convenience) and there is a little lag in the display of results. I experienced this several times this evening. Not a real problem per se, except the fact that I made my screenshot too rapidly. The complete results appear after two or three seconds. For some strange reason the enemy CV had a hard on for me this entire game (I seriously think this is the strongest AA platform in the game right now), so he kept on coming time after time and I vaporized his squadrons 3 times, and then in the end he managed to do 3000 damage to me while I was aiming my drops but that was only because he flew around the entire map to strike me from behind, but then of course I did 30 000 damage to him in the end with my drops. Another great thing about the Golden. Don't have to have line of sight of the carrier cowering behind an island, just have to be withing 13 km from the island. Buying the Legendary mod for Coal in the Armory for Golden is probably one of my Top 5 purchases in 9 years playing this game.
