Used a "100% doubloons back" coupon while shopping in the premium shop to welcome the Tier-6 French Aircraft Carrier, the Béarn.
The Béarn was delivered by Commander Roger Bertrand (zero skill points).
He will be sent back to Shipbuilder's City with thanks for a job well done.
Captain selection and hull equipment installation to begin, soon.
There's also a purple-cherry festive token attached to the hull, which will need to be knocked-off.  🙂

As a reward for completing the 40th stage of the (2,500 doubloons) Battle-Pass and an earlier in-game mission-chain, I welcomed the Tier-6 premium French Cruiser, the Dupleix.
The Dupleix was delivered by Commander Jacques Blanchard (6 skill points).
Hull module installation and a decision about whether or not to keep the Commander to be finalized, soon.

Edited to add:  I've decided to keep Commander Jacques Blanchard, for now.

Welcomed the Tier-9 German tech-tree Cruiser, the Roon, to my Port.
The ship was delivered without a Commander.
Commander Azur Lane Roon will be assigned as her Captain.

Welcomed French cruiser Dupleix about a week ago, and picked up another six new ships today — Lazo (for coal, to get it out of the CT crate list), Hyuga, Munchen, Poltava, and Sims (from said CT crates), and Vanguard (with the 50% off coupon).

Unless I pull a ship from my last batch of 10 SCs tonight, those will be my last additions during the anniversary event. Total flake fleet count: 344 ships. (Yes, once again I am very glad bonus flakes are a thing.)

BZ

Remind us how that works, do you actually need to have 500 ships in port, or have played at least one battle on 500 different ships?

For me I played more than 500 ships long time ago, and I bought 500th ship today and no badge.  Then played a game (not a new ship, and I still have quite some ships never played, such as superships) and got it.

I noticed that I hadn't finished researching and welcoming the Tier-2 and Tier-3 Spanish Cruisers.
So, I used FreeXP to complete the process and welcome the Tier-3 Spanish Cruiser, the Navarra, to my Port.
The ship was delivered without a Commander.
The Tier-2 Cruiser, the Mendez Nunez, has gained "Elite Ship" status in the process.

U-4501 is ship #635. Most lines are complete, except I did not keep some T1-T2 cruisers in port.

66 21-point commanders.

I just ditched 20 T1-T4 ships in a port clearing effort and you do this LOL. That leaves me with 518 as my current ship count.

"Holy Fleet Review, Batman, 518 ships?"

"I'm sure, Boy Wonder, someone has them all."

You could buy those 20 back :). Many of the T1 - T4 tier ships are so pretty & unique.

Despite the removal of 20 T1-T4 at the time of that other post they keep showing up. I think we should change it from WOWS to WOWR (World Of War Rabbits).

When I bought the German Sub for coal a few days ago , it was ship number 602. A few are in the offing due to regrind so 2 more have earlier been in my port. So 602 is the number of ships in my port today.

Exchanged 51,000 'research points' in (the Research Bureau section of) the Armory to purchase the Tier-9 US Navy Battleship, the Illinois.
The Illinois was delivered by Commmander Archibald Shelton (3 skill points).
He will be sent back to Shipbuilder's City with thanks for a job well done.
Commander Azur Lane Iowa New Jersey (10 skill points) is selected to become the Captain of the Illinois.
Hull module installation and sea-trials to begin, soon.

Side note.  I had a word-association moment when I saw the name Archibald Shelton, and was reminded of the name "Arch Stanton" used in the movie "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly".
Then my mind reminded of of @clammboy, who shares an appreciation of Clint Eastwood's career.  🙂
